Aims of the course
The course covers the fundamentals of power plant engineering. General aspects of energy conversion are discussed. The main focuses of the course are thermal- and combustion power plants. Optimisation of the processes are derived and evaluated based on their thermodynamic cycles. The course enables students to understand and evaluate the thermodynamic processes in thermal- and combustion power plants.
